Dr. M A Chishti is a renowned Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with over 30 years of rich experience, serving as Director of the specialty at Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences. He carries an experience of 30+ years and has performed more than 15000 different cardiac surgeries. He is constantly on the lookout to develop new and innovative techniques to perform cardiac procedures that help in quick recovery . He was the first and only Surgeon till now to performed Heart Transplant and Heart – Lung transplant in state of Rajasthan.
His expertise lies in on off-pump bypass surgeries , aortic aneurysm surgery , surgery for Cardiac failure and Ventricular assist device and also finds interest in beating heart bypass surgery, open-heart valve surgery, minimally invasive heart valve surgery, peripheral vascular surgeries , congenital heart defects like ASD, VSD, and PDA among several others. His area of interest lies in understanding the needs of the patients with empathy.
