Nephrology is a subspeciality of internal medicine dealing with the function and pathology of the kidney. Nephrology concerns with the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases as well as the associated and related complications such as electrolyte imbalances, mineral and bone disorders, hypertension. The field also actively deals with pre and post-op evaluation and management of renal transplant donors and recipients.

  • Maximum number of renal transplants in the state and one of the leading transplant centre in the country including ABO incompatible and swap transplantation. We have done more than 1800 transplants till now.
  • 1st deceased donor transplant of the state in 2015 .20 have been done till now.
  • First swap transplantation in the state .Around 130 + have been done till now.
  • We are pioneers of ABO incompatible renal transplant in the state, having done first one of the state in 2016. 150+ have been done till date.
