Dr. Vijay Mathur, Professor & Head Department of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care. Did her MBBS from SMS Medical College (1987-1992) and MD Anaesthesia from SMS in (1994-1997).

She did her fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia from SMS Medical College and Escort Heart Institute and later worked Cardiac critical care, Joined MGMCH as Assistant Professor. As Professor & Head Department of Neuro Anaesthesia in 2017 and Joined and Professor & Head Department of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care in 2024
